His first significant exhibition was Salon I 1999 at Palazzo della Permanente, Milan.
In 2003 he took part at the exhibition "Volare" curated by Director G. Mariani at Palazzo Reale- Sala delle Cariatidi (Milan) where he was awarded the 2nd prize for his sculpture Icarus.
His first personal exhibition entitled Fresco di Fabbrica and curated by Giancarlo Pedrazzini came along in 2008 at Fabbrica Eos.
In 2010 the sculptures of the series Il Senso dell'Assenza played the leading role in his personal exhibition Cocoon curated by Alberto Mattia Martini at Fabbrica Eos.
In the same year another solo exhibition entitled Lamiere al Vento was organised at Contemporaneamente art Gallery in Parma and Famiglia Margini selected two sculptures for the exhibition Terzo Rinascimento at Palazzo Ducale in Urbino and at Castello Normanno of Acicastello.
In 2011 he took part to the 54th edition of Biennale di Venezia curated by Vittorio Sgarbi.
In the same year he created the piece Ultima Cena for the foundation Casa Testori for the exhibition Giorni Felici 2011 curated by Giovanni Frangi.
In 2012 the sculpture Noluntas was selected for the biennial exhibit Italia-Cina curated by Ivan Quaroni and Wang Chuchen at Villa Reale of Monza.
The year 2014 started with the collective exhibition Materie curated by Simona Bartolena at MUST museum in Vimercate and at Palazzo G.Silva.
Later the same year, he took part at the biennial exhibition Italia-Cina for the
second time. The exhibition was staged at 798 Art District of Beijing and it was curated by Sandro Orlandi.
At Villa Confalonieri in Merate was also kept the exhibition Tracce di Contemporaneo, artworks of the Bugatti collection, curated by Simona Bartolena.
Memento was the title of the sculpture chosen by Angela Madesani for the collective exhibition Una Solitudine Troppo Rumorosa at Nuova Galleria Morone.
From November 2014 to January 2015, MAR museum of Ravenna dedicated to Francesco a personal exhibition curated by Davide Caroli.
Vessel is the title of the personal exhibition also curated by D. Caroli (project room) at Nuova Galleria Morone.
Later in 2015 he took part to a collective exhibit curated by Davide Sarchioni at the historical olive oil mill of Capalbio.
In 2016 he took part at the collective exhibition Cities they are a-changing curated by Marco Biraghi and Daniele Decia at Fabbrica del Vapore, Milan.
In 2017 he took part with Nuova Galleria Morone to Sequela, a collective exhibit curated by Leonardo Regano, within ArteFiera and BolognaArtCity circuitatex chiesa di San Mattia Polo Museale dell’Emilia Romagna.
The Spazzio Ratti, ex chiesa di San Francesco, Como hosts his personal exhibition Germina curated by Davide Caroli.
